(Valencia), Since 2008, she works in the educational project Saguntina Domus Baebia, in which classical
culture is taught to students. The Domus Baebia is under the direct control of the Valencian
Regional Council of Innovative Education
(Consellería de Innovación Educativa de la Generalitat Valenciana), and there,
students of all ages participate in lessons and workshops about Ancient Greece and Rome,
acquiring a wide range of knowledge on subjects such as: cookery, mosaics, hygiene and
cosmetics, writing, military tactics and equipment, gladiators, Greek pottery, clothing,
usage of time, etc.
During all these years, she has taught not only students, but also other teachers, helping them to increasing their knowledge on Classical Culture and how to teach it to younger generations. She has also taken part in several national congresses and conferences about the divulgation of Greek and Roman cultures. Moreover, Charo has written teaching manuals for the renowned publishers Santillana and Tilde, as well as a considerable amount of articles about ancient world for the magazines

Since 2006 she manages a blog about classical Roman cooking, DE RE COQVINARIA, created with the
aim to approach ancient cookery to those who are interested in such a specific topic.
